There is a two-inch lip around this unit on top as well as on the front, to enable you to install you desired material with little or no trimming: it is very forgiving.  Installation is a snap. Designed with the homeowner in mind. Yes, the weekend warrior. The one that needs no instruction. Just get on with your construction and if per chance you run into an obstruction then go back and read the installation tips.

Precision welding of the best quality steel assures you of a virtually indestructible unit. The finished unit weighs over 100 lbs, 150 lbs with accessories.  If you were 2’ tall and 3’ wide and weighed 150 lbs, your doctor would tell you to do something.  Quality and longevity is our goal and we don’t feel the need to lose the weight. We finish these units with the best high-heat paint, which is very easy to maintain.

These units are so easy to install with almost any material that the possibilities are endless. We put both our brain cells together and thought we came up with some great ideas to incorporate this unit into your landscape. #5 Low maintenance 

As stated before, the Bottomless Pit was made to be ridden hard and put 
away wet. Precision welded and finished with the best high heat paint 
available, this unit is virtually indestructible. We have tried numerous other finishes for this BBQ and nothing else has stood up to the test. If your BBQ gets scratched or worn in any area, just touch it up with high-heat, flat black BBQ paint available at your local hardware store. 

All units come standard with stainless steel grill rods. These heavy-duty stainless rods are the only thing that we have found that will hold up to heat as well as the weather. 
 

#6 Unlimited accessories 

The Bottomless Pit comes standard with our basic accessory kit, which includes: 
1 grill with stainless steel rods 
1 charcoal grill with quick detach arms 
1 swing arm - for a potholder 
1 grill clip - to hold grill in upright position 
1 solid brass buzzard logo 
1 short pin - for swing arm 
1 long pin - for accessories and grill clip 

Our standard (extra) accessory is the very versatile swing arm grill. 
These grills are 17” x 17”, and have a center pin to swivel on the swing arm 360°.  The swing arm also swivels 360° on the top pins.  2 or more grills can be mounted on top pins and are adjustable in height by the use of spacers. 
These grills can be used in a variety of ways. You can put a griddle or a coverlid or a fry pan or a cutting block on this grill or use as is. 
With our very basic swivel and pin system, you can easily acquire material locally to create whatever you like.  Create your own custom accessories or have them fabricated locally. Once you see how simple this system is, you will no doubt come up with something to customize your unit.  We would be happy to help you in any way to custom fit your unit to suite your needs.
